Agroalimentaria 2025: the Mexican countryside in the fight for an agricultural future

Despite the instability and unrest affecting the Mexican agricultural sector, Pierce was once again present at the Agroalimentaria trade fair to lend its support to the local market. Even in this context of uncertainty, Guanajuato was once again a meeting point where the Mexican countryside and innovation converged. That is why, from day one, Pierce actively accompanied the sector by offering iControl technology, which was very well received by younger visitors. Many of them arrived with curiosity and were able to discover how easy it is to monitor and control a pivot from any mobile device thanks to iControlRemote. Our technical team explained step by step how it works, and we heard countless sincere “That’s cool!” comments when they understood the magic behind the system… an experience that fills us with satisfaction.

It was a pleasure to have our closest collaborators, who are already part of the family, with us. Oscar Bonilla from Senninger by Hunter Agriculture, Vladimir González from Nelson Irrigation, and Gustavo Dantas from Komet Irrigation shared their extensive knowledge of sprinkler systems, helping farmers understand which option is best for their needs. Their presence and support were invaluable to everyone who came to talk to them.

We are very grateful to have had the presence of several local distributors such as Rex de la Huasteca, Sistemas de Riegos Presurizados, and Comercializadora de Riegos, who enriched each dialogue with their direct experience in the region. Their participation was key to giving meaning and reality to so many productive conversations that arose during the fair.

None of this would have been possible without our team: Diego Solís, Sales Manager for South Texas and Mexico; Juan Luis Montoya, Technical Service for Mexico and Central America; Gerber Ramírez, Technical Service for Central America; and our tireless Global Marketing Manager, Elva Pérez, who upheld the Pierce name with their professionalism and approachability.

Agroalimentaria 2025 was a reminder that the Mexican countryside has great potential, and at Pierce we will continue to contribute by sowing technology, knowledge, and partnerships that grow year after year.

See you soon, Guanajuato. 🌱
